The report structure
How the report is built
The employee survey report comes in two versions: a total report with the results for the whole organisation and subgroup comparisons, and slimmer department / manager reports.
Manager / department reports
Questions & answers
The report starts by answering three questions:
- 1. Highest / lowest scores – Which scale questions have the highest and lowest scores?
- 2. Compared with the company total – In which areas are you above or below the company average?
- 3. Compared with the previous study – In which areas have you improved or declined since the last measurement?
Total report
Questions & answers
The total report – and reports at other aggregated levels like country, region or business area – also answer:
- 4. Correlation – Which questions correlate most with overall satisfaction?
- 5. Significant differences – Are there significant differences between age groups, genders and other important breakdowns?
- 6. Comparing departments / managers – Which departments or managers have the highest and lowest overall satisfaction?

Detailed appendix
All reports include an appendix with the percentage distribution of every question.
- Question area indexes – Shown in radar charts.
- Combined charts & tables – Stacked bar charts of the frequencies, with the average in a column to the right.
- Open ends / comments – All open-ended comments are included in manager and department reports.
